Practice Track

Established in 1988, Practice Track is the UK's leading supplier of marketing and client service solutions for professional firms. With our range of quality publications, we can add value to your client services, helping you to attract and retain clients and stay ahead of the competition.

Practice Track was an exciting e-commerce project which I created during my time at Wilmington plc.  The initial goal was to bring Practice Track into the eCommerce world.   

The website lists a wide variety of products including:

• Budget Reports
• Printed / PDF Tax cards
• Brochues & Guides
• Factsheets & Newsletters
• News Bulletins for yor website
• Website building
• Tax Mobile App
• Branding packages

The complexities of this website was the variety of products on offer.  Each product had a base price and customisable options that would re-calculate the price.  I used JQuery on the front end to give these order forms a nice, user friendly feel. 

I worked with an external designer who had supplied an HTML version of the site.  I then used that to create the final product with the following tech stack:

• ASP.Net MVC
• Umbraco CMS
• Foundation
• JQuery
• Microsoft SQL Server.

The end result is a modern website with better SEO ranking & a big increase in online sales.
